Pete “The Voice” Lead Singer
Pete Carter first discovered he could sing when he won a bottle of scotch in a karaoke competition about 20 years ago. Since then he has made up for his late start by singing as much as he could, be it on the West End stage or the back room at Ramsgate Working Mens club.
A member of well known, South East England based, 7 piece band “Sneaking Sally” led to him performing with high profile acts such as Jools Holland, Squeeze, Level 42 and Dr Feelgood at venues such as the Fairfield Halls, Hammersmith Odeon, Grosvenor House Hotel and The Winter Gardens Margate.
His broad vocal range and lively personality makes Pete the perfect front man for what is, quite simply, THE best Rock band in Andalucia. For more on Pete click here
Stephen – Guitar
Stephen started playing the guitar when he heard George Formby’s seminal “When I’m Cleaning Windows” one Saturday morning before Noel Edmonds’ Swap Shop came on.
“I used to get up early on a Saturday morning and the BBC used to put on any old rubbish from their archives before Swap Shop and that’s when I saw George doing his thing. I just had to get a ukelele. Unfortunately they didn’t have any ukeleles in my local music shop, so I just had to make do with a guitar. At the time I was devastated, but with the passing of the years I’ve learned to cope with that crushing blow. That and the fact that Cheggers never came to Ireland, ever.”
Stephen quickly graduated to electric guitar and began to dissect riffs and solos from his favourite players like Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Robertson and Jimmy Page. Various bands and styles followed: from prog to country and all in between. He loves all kinds of music and the band will no doubt benefit from his eclectic tastes.
Hodge – Drummer
Hodge has an impressive discography and has played on over 50 World wide releases. He cut his teeth in Neo Rockabilly legends The Sharks who toured Europe & Scandinavia extensively with an impressive live show.
The late 90’s were spent with Brit popsters Johnny Panic & the Bible of dreams. Hodge has been lucky enough to work with some top class musicians and producers gaining valuable experience along the way. Hodge believes that his hard hitting, dynamic style can bring a new dimension to an already cultured lineup.
Dave – Bass
Dave first began his passion for stringed instruments in his early teens when he played along to Neil Young records. “Listening to Neil Young´s music taught me a lot about the flat-picking style, harmonies and chord structure”.
During his teens Dave played in folk clubs and during this time started playing the mandolin. “I first picked it up for more variety to our act. But it was useful later when I got into traditional music.” During the 1980´s, after a brief foray into Punk and New Wave music, Dave played at a number of international folk festivals. “Latterly I started playing the bass with the folk band I was in and that led to me joining a rock band playing bass.”
Dave still plays both traditional music (with the Sessionistas) and rock/blues (with Back in Time and now Snakey Jake) and will put his diverse musical experience to good use with Costa Rock.

I meant Stephens not mine by the way.
I don´t know WHAT I´ve got to smile about. Certainly not my biography!
I think I’m the only one telling the truth.
